The Mill

A particular must-see is our „Black Forest Mill Museum“. After being burned down in the early 1900s, the mill has been re-built in original construction type, solely made of wood, not even using nails of metal. The whole facility and equipment is as it has been more than 100 years ago. By visiting the mill, you can disappear in a world of old tradition, trace back the way from grain to flour and discover many more old tools and handcraft.

Located just next by to the mill is our Mill Kiosk offering a large variety of original Black Forest specialities (like smoked ham or Kirschwasser Schnaps). Both, the mill and the Kiosk are open to visit every day from 1pm to 5.30pm. The entrance fee is only €1,30 for adults, whereby childrens are free.
