The Tannenmühle lies on the edge of the state-recognized Luftkurort Grafenhausen on a high plateau of the southern Black Forest between 800 and 1,100 m above the sea level. The community with its 2,300 inhabitants is located in the so-called "Rothauser Land" and belongs to the Landkreis Waldshut. Grafenhausen offers its guests a rich recreational offer with concerts, folklore festivals, indoor pool, theater and cabaret events. In the district Rothaus is not only the well-known State Brewery, but also the local museum Hüsli: It became famous as a Brinkmann villa in the TV series "The Black Forest Clinic".
Beautiful in the nature reserve between Rothaus and Grafenhausen lies the Schlüchtsee, which invites our guests to swim in summer. To go for a walk the beautiful, newly created nature trail in the "Schlühüwanapark" (Schlüchtsee-Hüsli-Wander Nature Park) awaits our guests as well as the three-hectare spa park in the Village center. A new attraction is the "Black Forest house the senses "with the motto: Gugge-mach-wunderfitze. Your own senses are made tangible on special exhibits.
