Feeding, stroking, watching

Petting zoo

A particular highlight is our “up close” petting zoo – and not just for young guests. You can stroke the pot-bellied pigs and Quessant sheep, the smallest breed of sheep in Europe. Or you can stroke our goats, blacknose sheep, ponies, donkeys, playful alpacas and majestic deer through the fence.

You can also feed our lovely goats, pigs, sheep, trout and deer.

Take a look through the fence at our cute guinea pigs and rabbits and watch them hide in their cosy huts and enjoy their food. Watch how they interact and sometimes even play together. It’s simply adorable how the rabbits clean each other.

New additions to the Tannenmühle family

The sheep Lotta & Frieda

Lotta is a Valais Blacknose sheep and a true delight for everyone who meets her. With her charming nature and soft coat, she not only catches the eye but also warms the heart.

As an ambassador for joy and cheerfulness, Lotta proudly displays the characteristic black nose of her breed. Her best friend Frieda, an equally lovable and playful companion, is always by her side.

Together they’re an unbeatable duo that stand for adventure and fun. Whether they’re exploring the green meadows, playing in the sheep pen or discovering new trails, Lotta und Frieda are always up for some adventure.

Host daughter Charlotta accompanies our guests with great warmth and joy. Together with her four-legged companions, she leads you on a relaxed walk through nature – an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Trout farm

We also have trout in our diverse animal world – in our own trout farm. The freshness of the trout and unrivalled range of preparation arts are unique in the region.
